Tonight we carved Pumpkins with my sister-in-law Kory and our nieces. We went to a pumpkin patch and got to pick out our pumpkins. Our nieces got tiny pumpkins and painted them, while the adults carved.

Cody wanted to carve a diesel truck, so I found a picture of one online and played with the black and white saturation. It turned out great! |
Kory told the boys before started that she'd kill them if they broke her knives. Not 10 minutes later I managed to break one of her knives in half inside my pumpkin! Whoops! |
Cody's truck turned out really good, he used toothpicks to make the grill. Unfortunately before I took this picture some of the grill caved in. |
I started out carving a really cook spider in a web, but quickly learned the web was too intricate for me. The carving kit we bought came with a book of patterns, so I ended up just picking one of them. |
